The Alphas Mermaid
The alphas mermaid I looked into the eyes of the alpha, his deep blue eyes you could get lost in. I was snapped out of my trance by being pulled by my brother. I looked at him confused untill I looked back at the alpha to see his eyes full of fury and being held by a beta and a pack worrier. "You are to weak to be my mate! You are a human! You will never succeed." He growled. I looked at him wide eyed.&nbsp;They don't know what&nbsp;and who we are, all I know is that the alpha wolf is my mate... I'm a mermaid, the last purple&nbsp;tailed mermaid and hunted by many, and I'm in hiding. I smiled and walked up to him changing my eyes to my bright purple and looking at him. "If you only knew" then I turned on my heels walking out of he school with my brothers in tow. ------------- Bryce is the next alpha of the Dark Moon pack. He is the player, the normal non-mated alpha. He has bright blue eyes and black hair. When he meets his mate he is outraged to find out that she is human....or so he thinks. Marine is not like every mermaid girl, she is special and due to her&nbsp;royal blood her and her brother have.&nbsp;They can&nbsp;shift from mermaid to human, but if they come in contact with water in human form they shift in a minute flat. But what happens when she meets the alpha and is her mate. He thinks she human?&nbsp; She's not. She is the last purple finned mermaid out there. Nina is captured by parbeing man. He plans to turn her into his pet. He knows she won't go down without a fight, but he's not prepared for how much 'fight' she has packed in her small body. His new pet leaks into every area of his life, changing things in ways he could never have imagined. Parbeings are the new and improved apex predators of Earth. Created from gene editing, they are the perfect humans, so perfect that they are no longer even considered human. *** Content Warning: The protagonist of this story is a victim of abuse. I reach the end of the alley and turn to face my foe once again, but he remains where he is, still blocking my path but not approaching either. New plan: when he gets close, duck under his arms and make a run for it. Now I just have to wait. Before a minute has even passed, another armoured soldier appears and joins the first. This just keeps getting worse. How am I supposed to dodge past two of them? "What do you want now?" the new soldier grumbles. This one must be Alex. "Look at this cute little human I found. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger. Who do they think they are, talking about me like I'm some kind of wild animal? "Get the fuck away from me! You freaks!" I screech. The first soldier just flashes an evil grin. They don't budge. Heather has lived her entire life believing her mother is crazy. She doesn't believe the stories that were told to her as a child, the stories about men descending from the sky to take her. She rejects the false narratives and tries to help her mother the best she can even if that means constantly moving and preparing for the men to come back. She doesn't envision a life beyond this, never expected to leave her mother until she is forced to in the most unexpected way. When the men from the sky take her instead. *** It was a short debate but enough to push me over the edge. Pher was right. I was making this too difficult. I should just do it. I had been fighting myself on this for too long. I didn't care what he was, I wanted this. I stared at his lips as he spoke, my own tingling in response. "I could show you that if you wanted. Most of the other things you can do are outside of the esta-" I pushed up on my toes and crashed my mouth to his. My actions were unexpected and rushed. I could tell by his reaction. He reared back but not enough to separate us. His hand flashing to my arm to still us and then he froze. I thought for a second, based on his lack of response, I had picked the wrong time. Or maybe he had changed his mind from two days ago. I went to pull away, flushing lightly with embarrassment. I didn't get to disconnect our lips before he unfroze and reacted.
