That's my name.

"You don't mean that..." He questioned. His eyes look so dark, his face is shadowed. He's worried, nervous of my response.
I brush my hands across my face, flattening my hair, bloody wind.
"Yes i do." I spin on my heels but he grabs my wrist and pulls me forward, my face peering up at his. He has his arm out behind him, my wrist in a tight grasp so i am sort of falling but still stable. He is looking down at me, his eyes have changed. They are glassy, fogged. Scared.
"Take that back." He whispers, pleading with me to work with him, just to understand and i do, but i refuse to partake.
"No."I mumble. He shudders. He lets go of my hand.
"You mean it?" He furrows his brows. He is not insane. He's confused. I nod slowly.
I don't mean it, of course not. But right now. I can not stand him. I turn and head back to my car. I'm done for the day. I'm just...Done.
