She looked at the shattered mirror in front of her. It is torn into pieces like her. No matter how hard she tried to fix it, it will never go back to the way it used to be. She averted her eyes to the blade that was piercing into her skin. Blood started coming out but she could feel no pain. She thought that no pain can be compared from what she has suffered.
No one knew her pain because she tried to cover it with her fake smiles and fake laughs. For her loved ones, she kept holding onto that thin rope called hope, thinking that someone or something could end her misery. But, life cuts that thin rope until she fell deep into that black hole that even the light can't escape; where no one could come near her except the death that lurks behind her.

In the beginning she was alive, her soul bare for this man, loved him with every fiber of her being. She was willing to give up everything that she had for him and worked hard for the future they both hoped for each other; when he still existed. She loved him but did he ever feel the same way? He was loving, caring, and kind; everything a girl could ever wish for in a man. The words destructive and inhuman would've never crossed her mind to describe her husband; or was she so stupid to see it all from the very beginning? Every day she prayed to the man above that the love and attention she constantly gave him would be enough to change such characteristic; no, flaw. But it wasn't so.
