A voice soft and calming, the last, the only thing I remember before I woke.
It spoke "I'm so sorry my child. A great betrayal to awaken your gifts, your destiny. Stay hidden, harness your powers. He knows of your existence, rumour has spread, some will seek to use you, some to destroy. Hide my child, prepare. For the time will come when you are all that stands between good and evil. You are my chosen Amaris, my silver wolf.."
Amaris woke not knowing what betrayal had happened, or the destiny she'd been given. Nor who 'he' was.... She just knew she had to survive, had to prepare. She was the Silver wolf, her existence was foretold in childhood stories, the girl betrayed, the wolf with special gifts the chosen who would need her pure heart and all the power she could muster to overcome what lies ahead...
