And she found just that beneath the roiling waves crashing against the craggy rock out crops fringing the borders of her village.

Wrong. She couldn't have been more wrong. She hadn't been careful of what she wished for.She never wanted her adventure to have a choke full of needle sharp teeth, cold, clammy skin and an appetite for her and what is hers.
To the so called desceptively alluring deities , she was simply a tool to end a war waged millions of years beneath the waves

As a child she has always been drawn to nature, that soon took a turn. without warning that same day, an angry storm suddenly approached, untamed and strong the ocean follows seconds later burying the once known horizon under ten feet of murky waters. Months after the disaster the water suddenly trails back to sea bringing along hundredths of corpses. Few left on the beaches with stomachs ripped out and chewed, some without a torso most without arms. What could have happened? One day strolling around with her nanny, Monica sensed something amiss. A dreadful feeling creeping up onto her from behind, eyes following her tiny form, yet there seems to be no one around. Mindful of the creeping danger she lunged too high up on a rock slipping when the heel of her feet couldn't latch on. At least not on its own, all she was able to see was the whip of a tail.
