DeadLock là câu chuyện về một loại virus lạ, đe dọa tính mạng người.
Xuất hiện từ những năm 50, nhưng các nhà khoa học vẫn chưa thực sự tìm ra được nguồn gốc của nó. Một vị bác sĩ có uy tín nhận điều trị cho nạn nhân đầu tiên, đã bị thua kiện. Trước khi qua đời, ông có để lại một dãy số lạ, chỉ có em trai của ông biết. 2009, virus trở lại ở Hàn Quốc, tiếp tục tấn công con người, bắt đầu từ một cô gái trẻ.
Câu chuyện diễn biến ở năm 2012.
Cuộc gặp gỡ của hai người là một sứ mệnh bất khả thi, họ bắt buộc phải tìm ra nguồn gốc và cách chữa trị virus đó. Bằng không, câu hỏi lớn của nhân loại sẽ không bao giờ được giải đáp, tệ hơn nữa, họ sẽ phải đánh đổi sinh mạng mình để tìm ra loại virus nguy hiểm đó.

Just because we're living in a world where a disease can make the dead walk, doesn't mean that that disease is the only one we have to worry about. Junin2-one of the most deadliest diseases out there. We need the vaccine. He cocked his head to the side walking closer to me, as I started backing up "You thought you could hide the fact that she's my kid?" He pointed to the house "She's not y-your-s" I stutter more and my back hit the door as he climbed my steps "Don't lie to me now Lesy" he mocked using my old nick name. He grow closer and I started freaking out all over again ************ Tessa went back home. Her parents passed and left the house to her. She took up the offer and moved from Texas to Montana. When she got there she met a girl who led to meeting her old lover from high school. As soon as the words hello came from his mouth she knew she still had feelings for him, but she needed to stay far away from him. If that was even possible considering she's now best friends with his best friends little sister. And they both are street racers. And he's more then just a street racer though. Back by popular request! The 2017 rough draft of The Virus Within! (Caution: Contains massive plotholes that were fixed in the polished The Virus Within Series. Grammar issues are present, particularly missing commas.) What do you do when you are one of the infected? The virus in my blood is trying to steal my humanity. It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test. -------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book. It has nothing to do with A Different Virus. I wanted to try a book with an easily irritated main character and a nutcase secondary character. This book has a slightly darker outlook at the beginning than my usual stories, but it has some humor further along.
