Up to the year 2085, The United States of America had made extraordinary advances in the space program. To the point where there was an academy that once you graduated, you became a space explorer for the space program. Twenty years had passed however and Earth was on the verge of becoming overpopulated. Scientists estimated that in thirty years, Earth would become overpopulated.

The government made a crucial decision. To build a massive ship and have a specially selected crew to begin a long journey to find another planet that the human race could inhabit. The government handpicked a small team from the space academy to operate and control the massive spaceship.

Another small team of the space program was chosen so Earth would be able to communicate with the spaceship.

Twenty students with extraordinary potential were chosen as well to be the first inhabitants of the new Earth.

It took another five years for the giant ship to be built. Once it was completed, they called the ship the FGI-Atlas.

Then the government picked the best of the best at the space program to pilot and maintain the Atlas. There would be another team on Earth to communicate with the Atlas.

Finally, the government chose just twenty students from the academy who had great potential to be the first ones to live on the new Earth.

The main character of this story: Laurence Sanchez would be one of those twenty students.

Laurence is a single, gay, and looking for love. Unfortunately at the academy, instead of getting a date, he was bullied for being gay.

Laurence was given a yin yang pendant from his grandfather before heading off to the academy. His grandfather told Laurence that if he needed anything, to just ask the pendant. Laurence, thinking his grandfather has finally gone senile, just holds onto it. But under strange circumstances, Laurence is forced to use it.

A novel about embracing your sexuality and finding love in a world full of chaos.
