Steve looked down at his left wrist, smiling sadly down at the red star there. "They say it's unlikely that you'll ever try to contact me again, but I know it's not true. I know you'll come back when you're ready, Buck." He looked up at the window again, smiling softly. "And until then, I will wait for you."

Bucky Barnes has loved Steve Rogers for as long as he can remember. Sure, his memories have been erased, but after Steve broke through the wall of lies and brainwashing Hydra set up in Bucky's brain, he knows without a doubt that Captain America means something to him. He just isn't sure what, yet.

Steve Rogers has always believed his soulmate would appear from nowhere, making his relationship with her love at first sight. The only thing is, it isn't a her, and Steve's soulmate has been by his side all along. Now he just needs to wait for him to return.
