Young Earl Raven Thornheart lost everything that day two years ago. His family. His home. And his freedom.

But now, accompanied by a mysterious butler, he's back to take his position as the Queen's Panther, a position that not many are even aware of. Like the powerful black cat, Raven's job is to slink through the London underworld and find problems, ones that are then handed to the Queen's guard dog to deal with.

So what happens when the panther meets the guard dog? And when it's discovered that the butlers of the two earls were once lovers?

Will feline and canine struggle to get along, or will they form a bond? Will the butlers be drawn back together, or remain apart?
