Zero One Niner: REMNANT

The year is 5803 CE, an alien menace threatens the Galaxy. The Kingdom of Norma, once known as the guardians of the Core has gone silent, and their worlds destroyed without a trace. The Alliance of Free Systems develops a new weapon to fend off the invaders. SHDW or the Strategic Hostility Deterrent Weapons program was initiated in response to a series of events leading to a massive offensive into Alliance space, marking the beginning of the First Great Intergalactic War.
SHDW019, known as Apex is one of the 946 first-wave Shadows, super-soldiers specializing in undercover and saboteur operations including assassinations and singlehandedly taking down space stations. On a routine training exercise, Apex is deployed to an unmarked world to gather intelligence following spikes in energy and magical readings picked up by Alliance surveillance arrays.
