Magdalene accepts a job offer of becoming a stay-at-home maid since it is her first time being on her own after her past. She can't wait to finally have a job and become independent. She is surprised as the job agency didn't say she needs to be a maid to a cold boss.
However, she doesn't want give up as she needs a job and a place to stay but also because she doesn't want to give him the satisfaction of quitting.
As time passes, the Mister isn't as cold and maybe even someone special.
