Rifles and Roses and grenades as playthings.

Karate, Kickboxing, shooting and archery.

Embedding bullets in my enemies,

These are a few of my favourite things.

..............................

Dakota Kale grew up surrounded by guns. Bullets were her best friends, while kids her age were making paper planes with their school notes, she was reassembling guns with her sister and twin brothers.

Growing up as the daughter of an american mob boss didn't leave room for fun and mistakes. She was wired to live like a machine, only knowing and doing what she was told, no matter what it was.

............................................................

Archer Jackson was a soldier. A captain to be precise. With his bulky figure, you'd think he was probably someone who'd mash you to the wall if you looked at him wrongly.

It was actually the opposite. He was probably the most cheerful person you'd ever come across. But that doesn't mean that he didn't have his not so pretty parts.

So when he meets Dakota in a chance encounter, he can't help but notice that she wasn't like everyone else in every aspect.

And being the nosey bastard he was, he made it his mission to break down this woman who went through life with a scowl on her face.

And maybe, just maybe, Dakota will learn that you don't have to go through life with guns blazing.

His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
