Dax Wilder is a werewolf whom is a teacher slash mentor to Lexi Sutherland. She's an orphan who was dropped off at the University of Harrlow. It's a school for shifters only, so when Lexi turns 16 and doesn't shift like some of the others, the teachers are unsure what she is. 

When Lexi gets in to a fight and cuts one of the shifters with a knife and it glows with a silver light they know she's part of the Hunters Society.  With Dax being the one wolf who was a Hunter they ask him to train her. 

Now they are close as can be but soon his feelings for her and her feelings for him run a little deeper than they should.
