No, I don't think I do. 'Do I have anyone who cares about me?' No, I'm a loner and socially awkward. 'Do I have privileges?' No, if you haven't understood the message yet, I live in an abusive household. Now, you might ask if there are any questions the answer is yes. I'll give you some. 'Do I want to die?' Yes, I sometimes do. 'Do I feel alone in this world?' Yes, always. 'Do I get a beating every day?' Yes. *** This is Amara Williams, a 13 year-old with average grades and no friends. Ali returns to his childhood village of Chitterpari, nestled between the mountains on three sides and bordered by an old, abandoned water reservoir on the fourth. Reuniting with his childhood friends Daniyal, Hamza, Abbas and his older brother Abdullah their nostalgic bond is rekindled. One fateful morning, a seemingly innocent walk leads them back to the forsaken reservoir. This discovery sets off a chain of eerie and inexplicable events, drawing the group into a mystery that spirals into something far more sinister than they could have ever imagined. As they delve deeper, they uncover a secret that threatens not only the village but their very existence.
