It's been 10 years, since Kate chose Logan. 10 years since she broke Rome's heart.
As I make my way back, I accidently bump into a man.
"Oh gosh, I'm sorry." I say apologetically.
"It's fine. Don't worry."
His voice. I know that voice.
"Rome?" I say in disbelief.
The man pulls down the hood on his jacket, revealing his face.
It is Rome. He looks older, he still looks good, but I can see, he's not in a good place in himself. He's smiling, but behind that smile, his eyes are full of sadness, and anger.
"Hey Kate." He whispers sheepishly.
My mouth opens to reply, but no words come out. I'm in shock. It's been a little over 9 years. He's the same, but he's not.
"H_how have you been?" I say stuttering a little.
"I've been good. How are you?" Our eyes meet for a split second, there's something there, I don't know what it is, but his eyes are trying to say something.
"I've been.. Good." I shrug. I'm not lying, but I suppose right now, things could be better. What else could I say?
Oh, me and your old best friend, you know that one that betrayed you? Yeah well him, we kinda had a fight, because we were about to have sex, and he didn't want to use a condom, he wants more kids, I don't. So I've been searching for him. I can't find him though.
Yeah. No. I won't say that.
"Where's Logan?" He says looking around.
Ugh, what am I supposed to say?
"Oh, he.. He will be back soon. He went for a walk."

I know I shouldn't, but I can trust myself, and Logan should know he can trust me too. So I just nod, and we begin to walk.
