This book Is about a girl. Her name is Wanderer. But she isn't just any girl, she is a siren. No, its not the little mermaid. This siren is a different type of siren. She's a wandering siren. These are the violent sirens you hear about, most sirens don't even look at humans. A wandering sirens job is to lure the human. If they can kiss them, then they swap places. The siren becomes the human, the human becomes a siren. However, the human has no memory of their previous life. This girl vowed to never lure a human. She doesn't want them to suffer through any of it. These sirens were created by a secret group of sirens that nobody knows about. Will she find the group? Will she ever get her life back? A Mermaid for the Lonely
A mermaid named Sirène, whose job as a mermaid is to guide those who have died at sea to rest their souls and not be trapped. She typically finds sailors whose ships have sunk, and pirates and convoys alike. Her personality is one of seriousness, and she does not express herself by facial expressions very often. She does sung lovely tunes though, ones of the sea and winds, not ones meant to lure anyone to their doom. She seldom spends time with other merfolk and prefers to be on her own. She is however very curious of the various emotions humans possess and their intensity, since she does not feel these. One day, while Sirène was staying near Pointe de Pen Hir, a dangerous cliffside that plunges right into the ocean. Looking upwards by chance, she saw a human, a man, standing dangerously near the edge of the rocks. The wind blew harshly and she could only watch and wait as he toppled over the edge and feel towards the ocean. She saw no fight in him as he fell. ________________________________________________________________ This is a fantasy story with my mermaid OC that I started making back when I was in middle school.
