A young man by the name of Peter (prefers being referred to as 'Petey') stumbles across a quaint, simple town on a heated summer day of which eagerly welcomes its visitors and encourages them to stay. The traveler grows a deep connection to the town as well as its inhabitants after only what seems to be a week. All is well until Petey shares his warm experience with his friends and family, only to be informed that the town he visited does not exist. Petey finds himself slowly losing his mind as he tries to understand whether or not the place he visited and grew a deep fondness of really was just a hazy daydream on a sweltering hot day, a paper town.
