Hi! This is the first story I've written, and I decided to base it on a short story my class recently read called "Marigolds." The author, Eugenia Collier, wrote the story in Lizabeth's point of view, and I wanted to re-write parts of it in Miss Lottie's point of view. The original is amazing, and I strongly suggest you read it before reading this. In Lizabeth's point of view, all Miss Lottie seems to be is a strange old lady with a weird obsession with the marigolds growing beside her old, shaggy home. The reader only gets brief glances of who Miss Lottie truly is, so what was Miss Lottie thinking while the children threw rocks at her marigolds, or when Lizabeth ripped them from their roots for good? This will most likely be a two-shot.

This is...old. To say the least. I made a new version! I can't promise it's better, but I'm content with it! Old Description down there! | v So, this is my first time writing a story for FUN. So if it starts out terrible thats why, this is a mostly PG writing and shouldn't contain anything weird. The story(while mostly based on Webber) will contain story parts from other characters, and I will be guessing some parts of backstory for the characters(like acting like they knew people before they entered the constant) so don't yell at me for that. ***guys. i wrote this when i was 14 at the height of COVID-19. proceed w caution*** It's been a year after the Giant War, and things are going great for The Seven and friends. But a twist in the middle of summer make things go from heaven on earth to complete destruction. One sunny afternoon, Percy gets summoned to Olympus by his father. Naturally, Annabeth follows. When they arrive, Poseidon tells them that he want the 2 of them to go on a question in California, to retrieve a demigod. They wonder why a satyr can't do it, or why it has to be them, not anyone else. After a bit of convincing, they're on their way to Cali, via plane, credit to Zeus. What they don't know, is that another mysterious young demigod was also assigned to this quest. Hali Peterson. Daughter of Poseidon, born in 1937, dropped in the Lotus Casino at age 14, till her father pulled her out in the middle of the Giant War, in hopes to gain some more power in the underwater battle that raging at his palace. Now it was the next summer, and 15 year old Hali was living the dream in Southern California, occasionally going on different quests for her father. What happens when she meets her brother on one of these quests? I hope you like this! It's a story of a girl who goes through hardships and struggles in her everyday life. They punish her for things she has no control over, but then she faces it all. She is reborn from the ashes of the flames that had consumed her. She is stronger. But what if this isn't just some story that my grandpa came up with? What if something connected her to my family?
