Hi! This is the first story I've written, and I decided to base it on a short story my class recently read called "Marigolds." The author, Eugenia Collier, wrote the story in Lizabeth's point of view, and I wanted to re-write parts of it in Miss Lottie's point of view. The original is amazing, and I strongly suggest you read it before reading this. In Lizabeth's point of view, all Miss Lottie seems to be is a strange old lady with a weird obsession with the marigolds growing beside her old, shaggy home. The reader only gets brief glances of who Miss Lottie truly is, so what was Miss Lottie thinking while the children threw rocks at her marigolds, or when Lizabeth ripped them from their roots for good? This will most likely be a two-shot.

***guys. i wrote this when i was 14 at the height of COVID-19. proceed w caution*** It's been a year after the Giant War, and things are going great for The Seven and friends. But a twist in the middle of summer make things go from heaven on earth to complete destruction. One sunny afternoon, Percy gets summoned to Olympus by his father. Naturally, Annabeth follows. When they arrive, Poseidon tells them that he want the 2 of them to go on a question in California, to retrieve a demigod. They wonder why a satyr can't do it, or why it has to be them, not anyone else. After a bit of convincing, they're on their way to Cali, via plane, credit to Zeus. What they don't know, is that another mysterious young demigod was also assigned to this quest. Hali Peterson. Daughter of Poseidon, born in 1937, dropped in the Lotus Casino at age 14, till her father pulled her out in the middle of the Giant War, in hopes to gain some more power in the underwater battle that raging at his palace. Now it was the next summer, and 15 year old Hali was living the dream in Southern California, occasionally going on different quests for her father. What happens when she meets her brother on one of these quests? I hope you like this! Her second dream was to be able to cast spells to help thoses she cared about but she was told that only unicorns can cast spells. Her third and final dream was to have a family that wouldn't judge her for her flaws but her peers told her that it would never happen because she was too flawed for anyone to not judge her. the filly's heart broke more and more each day she was told her dreams won't come true until one day she ran away from the place she once called home to try to escape her pain after loosing her only friend Zipp Storm. the filly then found others that were without families like her and she lead them to create their own home but her pain stayed as she grew, she became cold and untrusting towards thoses around her. Will Sunny and her friends be able to help her with her pain? or will they fail to stop her plans of making everypony know the pain she's felt her whole life.Complete

Hmm?" Holding onto her wrists with his left hand and her neck in his right one he swipes up his thum to brush against her jawline. Dolohov and Nott lean on the walls with identical poses as they both level her with a sharp gaze. Tilting her head sideways so she is focusing on bright emerald eyes Anne speaks, "You might worship the ground she walks on Lestrange. But I don't own shit to your queen, especially not an explanation." The addressed male get so enraged that he increases the pressure at her throat and she can already feel the bruises forming and - suddenly he is thrown on the floor with a loud thud as Anne gets enveloped in the familiar embrace of expensive cologne and the gentlest whiff of spices, as she hears her saviour's words, easily imagining his thick brows furrowed in urgency. Please don't read this, I wrote it in middle school and it's really bad. I just don't want to delete it because some people might get mad at me ;-; Maybe someday I will rewrite it. The prince and girl fell in love, but couldn't be together, for the nobleman's daughter grew jealous when she found out, and ordered them to be killed. This story was called "The Lover's Curse." As it passed down, generation through generation, it became known as only a legend, a myth.
