Clay has autism and finds comfort in simple things, the illuminated a fireplace on a winter's night, fish swimming and stuffed animals. However, this was all soon to change after a tragic accident. Clay finds himself alone, seeing his happiness slip away from one simple mistake. George doesn't have an easy home life, after noticing signs of possibly a muscle disease, his only wish is to get help for it, however his parents deny every word that is brought up about it. Yet, it gets worse by the day as George quickly looses any hope left. When Clay is left traumatised by his past, he thinks nothing will bring back the same happiness he once felt, but when George moves into the farm he often visits, that same joy that was extinguished with the fire, sparks again... TW's: -Bullying -(Child)abuse -Panic attacks -Homophobia -Fire/death (past) -Flashbacks/nightmares Not really a TW, I think, but: -Muscle disease

George hasn't had an easy life after being diagnosed with autism. Going to a public school as an autistic, highly intelligent boy, he clearly notices the differences between his classmates and himself, giving him a lot of insecurity and shame about his own behaviour. As his escape, he goes to a bakery for hours a day to calm his mind, but things change when a new boy who moved is hired. Unexpectedly, and for the first time, George decides to open himself up to the new boy, Clay, while at the same time, Clay slowly starts falling for his new best friend, George. Mostly fluff with some angst every now and then! ⚠️ I wrote this book from my own experience and my own mindset, as someone with diagnosed autism, highly intelligent and ADHD. I DON'T think people with autism are childish or cute, I'm not projecting a stereotype. This is from my own struggles with autism at a public school without special needs.

Yet little did George know, that the person he knew as Dream online was actually his bully in real life. After a rough time at school from all the bullying, Dream was always there to comfort him even though he was the one doing the damage. Clay was the one who was poisoning George with his words full of nothing but his own pain. There's a camp coming up and both of them are looking forward to it, until they find out who they are in a room with. The days creep closer and George tries to find every way out of it, but there doesn't seem that there is one... [FINISHED] George has to live with extreme anxiety. He never talks to people and locks himself in his room. One day he needs to go to the supermarket. A random boy, named Clay, walks up to him, he makes George run away. The boy keeps contacting him. Why does George feel so comfortable around him? He isn't allowed to. How does this random guy do this, calm him down all the time? What starts with just a small conversation ends in way more than ever expected. 'Why did you start talking to me?' 'Because you had something different.' TW's this book: Panic attacks, self harm, suicidal thoughts, abuse, homophobia. REWROTE THIS TO A PLATONIC FANFIC (might rewrite and fix all the mistakes later :D)
