I believe there are no true heroes or villains; there are just people who did what they thought was best for them. In Heaven's Bane, those lines are blurred just enough to leave you wondering what actually counts as good, evil, wicked or kind.
Ever since she was born, Raven Williams has been on the run from Heaven and Hell. Her father hid this from her and tried to give her a life as normal as he could offer, yet she has never spent up to a year in one house. She could not go to school. She could not leave home without him. And she could not make friends.
Everything changed when she wass brutally kidnapped, and her father was left for dead. Terrified for both their lives, Raven Williams discovered she is part of an ancient race of humans blessed with unique abilities to fight against the forces of darkness - Children of God.
Raven was rescued from her kidnappers and taken to the Agate Haven - a place where young Children of God receive training. She began to discover her talents and finally thought she had found a place for herself. But, she didn't realize that she did not escape from her captors unscathed or... alone. Her life was thrust suddenly into danger as the unwanted passenger began to stir up trouble for her and those around. Caught in the middle of the eternal battle between Light and Darkness, Raven must choose where she will stand. And she must face the consequences of either choice

Making old and new friends to battle in order to defeat these deadly creatures. Also, save the planet in this new adventure series. I made this book into a short story, after losing it.
