Even though Penny and Barbara were both friends with Gwen Grayson. They had never even known anything about one another except their names and powers. Penny always kind of took a liking to Barbara though. There was just something unique about her power to morph into a ball, a bouncy ball nonetheless. She was just so well rounded.
Barbara of course knew of Penny, she was the most popular and beautiful girl in Sky High (don't tell Gwen). Just saying the occasional "hello" to Penny put a bounce in her step.
But that's besides the point. Something was about to bring Barbara and Penny closer than they had ever been before. Gym class. Every Friday in gym, Coach Boomer would have people pair up to play save the citizen. And what do you know, this week Penny and Barbara would be the hero team for save the citizen. It all comes full circle now. The Copycat and Barbara Bounce, do they have what it takes to save the citizen and each other?

Voted "Most Likely to Join the Circus" consecutively by Killian High's past three 2009-2011 published yearbooks, and as said by practically every person in the entire school, Derek Wells is the school's ultimate class clown. Seriously, if you're ever in need of a good laugh just go to him and he'll have you clapping your hands and shaking with quiet laughter like some dumb seal. The biggest joke of all to him was love. What was that? It was just some mushy, four-letter word that somehow could make a girl either swoon or cry or slap you in the face depending on the circumstances. So when Derek puts on his newly-acquired glasses for the first time in school, he doesn't expect to see Gwen, one of his closest friends, in a completely different light.
