They're too close and can do it whenever they want, anytime.
In the giant world, the giants and the half giants can not live at peace in the same world. Hard to imagine whether they will ever ever sit around the same table.
Giants discover themselves a hobby.
They all find distractions for themselves not to engage in war.
Giants go pet hunt on EARTH via a portal which is only visible from their world cause that's what they are good at.....
Half giants have what giants want but they will probably never find out

Sarina Earth is past saving, but to save the human race, six ships leave the planet to start over. When one of the ships is forced to do an emergency landing on a planet triple Earth's size, we are taken hostage in a Giant's castle and then sold. Although they feed us, I'm not fooled. Everything about them is designed to kill, so it's only a matter of time. Even if I have to do it on my own, I will find my way back to the ship that brought us here and leave this planet. Tarvik Getting called into an emergency meeting isn't how I would choose to spend the afternoon, but as Commander, I'm obligated to attend. Small beings landed on our planet, and per my king's orders- We're keeping them. My people are excited to have new pet types- cute ones at that- but I suspect they're capable of more than my king believes.

They're hunting us and we're on the run. We're always on the run and it's getting tiring but we can't stop. Not after I promised them that we would not be caught. Liam and Chloe were born with two different abilities which is extremely rare as most people are born with only one ability. With the looming war with the other realms in sight, the government has formed a new organisation to recruit reliths who are people with two abilities to train them and to fight in the war. People have been trying to escape the hands of the organisation as they have learnt about what they do to the reliths. The reliths go through various experiments in order to enhance their abilities. It usually ends with the reliths dying. Even if they made it through the experiments, they had to suffer with the beatings they received to make them tougher .
