In a deadly game of chess, Sapphire Sinclaire had no choice but to be a Pawn in the dangerous board game played by the two major opposing forces in the society--Government and Criminals. In order to make this game possible, a treaty hidden for many years was established in a place no one would be suspicious--inside an untraceable university ruled by the ruthless Upper Hierarchy.

Determined to survive the life-threatening curriculum, Sapphire's rage turned as her driving force. However, in the midst of following the dark treaty she wished to have no part with, she stumbled upon the darkest secret of the University. A forbidden name that arose peculiar emotions in her icy heart. The unyielding desire to solve the mystery behind that name, put her in an adversarial position against the King of the game.
