Kaaz Odkrah is trying to escape his past. His brother, Dylan Peake more commonly known as Shadowman. Is an assassin for the White Fang. 

These two brothers are both snow leopards faunues. Dylan see's no good in humanity, while Kaaz tries to find it.  

Finally, Kaaz is able too join Beacon to find the good humans, but only finds a brick wall of hatred. He does finds some humanity worth saving, apart for one, but she's already broken.
