Despite Kylo Ren's best efforts to purge the galaxy of the Jedi for good, there were two who survived the massacre of the temple. The first was Master Skywalker, and the second was apprentice Nova Corvack.
Although not much of a Jedi anymore, Nova is determined to put a stop to the First Order. And while she wants nothing more than to let her past die, and all memory the Jedi along with it, the discovery of a map leading to Luke Skywalker has Nova realising there are just some things she'll never escape.
With the First Order on the warpath, the resistance scrambles to keep the map out of their hands. And so despite crippling nightmares, and the risk of coming face to face with the very monster that ravaged the only family she had, Nova accompanies Poe Dameron to Jakku to retrieve the map.
But the First Order, desperate to finally wipe the last Jedi from the galaxy, is closing in. And when both she and Poe are captured, Nova isn't so sure she'll escape Kylo Ren a second time. At least, not with her soul intact. Because for all his darkness, Nova loved Ben Solo, and she'll be damned if she doesn't at least try to save him.
But just as she hopes to bring him back to the light, he threatens to pull her into the dark. And she's never been able to say no to him before . . .

Based on Star Wars ep. VII: The Force Awakens. "You... you're afraid." I say looking back at him defyingly. "That you'll never be as strong as Darth Vader." I say his hand moving away from me instantly and he takes a step back finally my body gets released from his hold. I notice the expression from his face breaking completely, he is confused even rattled. I breathe heavily and keep staring back at him proud of myself as he picks up his mask and exits the room leaving me tied up to the interrogation chair. How was I able to do all of that? ------ This book is part 1 of my rewrite series. I figured that if If I wanted to rewrite TLJ and TROS the only correct way would be by also doing TFA so here is that. Also, this book is going to be very similar to the movie to a point where it is almost identical but since it's written with different points of views we get to know more about the characters and where they come from. It is very canon compliant especially when talking about the different character backstories. Losing Order
(Book 3) Kylo Ren is assumed dead by the First Order and Knights of Ren after the malfunction sent him and Zeh Skurn to the Hoth System. The two have been there for only a month but each day feels like a year as they struggle to find enough food to survive the cold, harsh, environment. Skurn has managed to hold onto life despite the odds and is finally well enough to travel, if they could find a way to get off the cold desolate world. Not only that, but the pull to the light seems to be the only thing that they haven't managed to escape from. Kylo and Skurn must decide who they are or to tear themselves apart. Meanwhile, Alder has managed to keep the Resistance going and has strengthened them with the help of his uncle, Luke Skywalker. However, he knows a storm is coming. The First Order will strike again and he would need to make sure his side was ready before that happened. But is his plans really what the Resistance wants? (Book 2) Starkiller has been destroyed, Hux is on thin ice with Supreme Leader Snoke, and Kylo Ren is searching for ways to get stronger. Zheth Crogh has woken up from her injuries a bit... different. She still has her cutting remarks but her mind has been fragmented, only bits and pieces remaining. The First Order has gone into retreat but have not given up their goals and are nearly ready to strike again. The Resistance hasn't relaxed either. General Organa is aware that the war has only just begun and she is working hard to keep everyone prepared for their enemy's next attack. Poe, Han, and Finn eagerly await Rey's, and possibly Luke's return. With the Force on their side the remnants of the First Order will fall. Of course Leia and Han still wish to save their son from the dark side's corruption if he survived, no matter what Ben has done, they will always try saving him. Dark will once again collide with light, continuing the long battle between good and evil. But what both sides are about to learn is that light cannot exist without the darkness for where there is light, a shadow is cast. War between them will last for eternity or until balance is finally restored, until then, chaos and confusion will rein over both.Complete
