    Jamie is determined to help her family out, but when a wrong turn is made, she's left to confront the darkness of the outside world, filled with rogues and the shells of what used to be sane creatures. Most importantly, she's forced to face the side of the world werewolves were told to stay away from. The side that is ruled by vampires, reined by their leader, Cain Dominacius, who has been said to be the epitome of destruction and cruelty.
