Taylor came out with her new album "Lover" yesterday and it inspired me to get back into this concept! The idea is that I pick a line from each song and based on the emotions of that line, I write a letter to someone. My goal is not to have the letter express everything the song is dealing with, but to simply draw a connection between the feelings I feel when I think of the specific lyrics I picked and the feelings I attempt to portray in the letter. I haven't properly done this since Ed's "Multiply" album (I never finished "Divide" but hopefully I'll get around to that one as well at some point) and I'm super excited to get back into letter writing!
Some of the letters will be very personal, others will be purely fiction. Which one is which is for you to decide :)
