You're new, life's thrown in a couple curve balls and now you've found yourself attending Hogwarts school of witch craft and wizardry. You did receive your letter 5 years ago however due to your brains anomalies your parents chose to homeschool you, it was the safest decision but for the lack of friends you often despised it.
People are scary, we all know that. Entering a magical school where all of your classmates have bonded for 5 years without you is scary, seemingly only you know that. You've been thrown in the deep end and from the way your eyes were glazed to the red slits on your wrists you would surely drown. But it was ok, life hurts people and you'd fallen so far the people above you could hurt you no more.
Through everything you'd clung to one hope. Things don't stay bad forever. Pain is an illusion and surely, surely you'd get better in time.

She was tired, she was so bloody tired of it all. From the constant nagging and picking and pulling to the waking up at 6 am everyday to do that stupid crap. She didn't think it was stupid really, she just didn't like having to do it. She didn't really like having to do schoolwork either, but she found herself to be fond of the teachers and the curriculums. Most of all though, she didn't mind being at school all too much because it kept her away from the house. She found James to be nice, and Sirius to be troublesome, Peter was quite thoughtful, but Remus, he was kind to her. She had found that Remus was her favorite of them all, he was really very kind to her. What she had really come to see though, was the fact that he had scars too, and that meant they matched. Mature content. There are certain parts of this story that I will put a trigger warning before but you should keep cautioun when reading because I mention a lot of triggering things and topics in this book including self harm, abuse, mental illnesses etc. Also, the first year is really shitty writing and like the first part of fourth but I swear it gets so much better.
