The Book of Berber Magic is the story of an intrepid reporter, battling inner demons and the impending threat of the Jihadists, as she sets out across Morocco on the mission of a lifetime to give the Berbers their rightful place in history.

The journey begins inside a spirited house in war-torn Casablanca when her boat, destined for Africa, docks to avoid a new plague. A group of researchers work feverishly inside. Their mission is to complete a monumental compendium containing the secret lores of the Berbers. But will time run out?

One fateful afternoon, Samira becomes the guardian of The Book. She sets out across the Red Kingdom with two special guides. Fifty years later, her little companion, Sophie, recounts the tale to a young reporter from Le Monde. What happened in those dark days in Morocco? Who was Professor Westermarck, The Witch, and the Dervishes?

This is a magical universe, where fact meets fiction, and the past and future collide. Where Morocco, past and present, is brought to life in front of your eyes.
