Then humans came into existence, and began killing off these peaceful creatures out of fear. In the end, the humans won.
But this boring little village hides a secret, and the locals will do anything to keep Tom from his destiny. Anything.
As Tom delves deeper into the earths history, his loyalties and everything he knows is turned upside down, the only ones he can trust is a mysterious old man with enchanting blue eyes, and his new companion of destiny, Tahlin the beautiful purple dragon.
But Lyra the mysterious newcomer to the village proves to be too much for Tom, her beauty knocking him off course, possibly endangering the present and past...

Coop, or "Slick" as he's know to his mc brothers is macho and rough, smart and loyal, Coop can't understand why the new girl who is suddenly friends with all of his friends, annoys him so much.
