16 Year old Tom Heartfeller. Just an average boy, moving to an average village. Or so he thought. The truth is Tom is anything but average. Millions of years ago, mythical creatures which litter the pages of children's story books walked the earth, living in peace and harmony.
Then humans came into existence, and began killing off these peaceful creatures out of fear. In the end, the humans won.
But this boring little village hides a secret, and the locals will do anything to keep Tom from his destiny. Anything.
As Tom delves deeper into the earths history, his loyalties and everything he knows is turned upside down, the only ones he can trust is a mysterious old man with enchanting blue eyes, and his new companion of destiny, Tahlin the beautiful purple dragon.
But Lyra the mysterious newcomer to the village proves to be too much for Tom, her beauty knocking him off course, possibly endangering the present and past...

Coop, or "Slick" as he's know to his mc brothers is macho and rough, smart and loyal, Coop can't understand why the new girl who is suddenly friends with all of his friends, annoys him so much. He tried not to be rude to her, well, he didn't try that hard, and he certainly didn't succeed. But he did get her a restraining order from an abusive ex, so why does she bother him so much? It's annoying as hell that she's got the whole beautiful, smart and funny thing going on, she just needs to stay out of his way. Hazel, has moved back to the town she grew up in, she's next door neighbors with her best friend Lola, and she's met a new group of friends that make her world sweet and fun. Yoga, her job, her new friends and most importantly, her new baby that is the light of her life. Despite the absentee baby daddy, she's going to fill her son's world with all the love, time, attention and security that she missed out on as a young child. Their world is bright and happy, shiny and safe (as far as she's aware) and she will do everything in her power to keep it that way. Her move back to Ventura is the best thing (next to her baby) that's happened to her, ever, so she is not going to let the grumpy, jerk of a club lawyer/club brother get in the way of her own happily ever after. She just wishes that he wasn't as handsome, smart and very occasionally nice, he just needs to stay in his lane, and away from hers.Complete
