Axel and Essini are normal beings in the year 4019. Axel is a 15 year old machanic from Yoria, the spaceship that first found Antan, the planet that is always night. Essini is an android in discuise, also part of the cyborg army being sent to Antan for war.
When Axel and Essini meet, they dont relize their futures depend on each other when Essini almost kills Axel in battle, then is sent to Axel for repairs.
At first Axel is cunfused why Essini came to him after his near death experience, but after he puts Essini back together he understands that Essini-and all other anderoids- are made for something coming to Antan- but Axel isnt sure what.

But at the same time, this technology is used to create synthetic android weapons of war. Among those weapons, a former Nation's Army combat android by the designation of AX-15. After being critically incapacitated in action, AX-15 was rendered unfit for service and was practically thrown out onto the streets. However, the android had been discovered by a smooth-talking mercenary that still found use for the combat androids' capabilities and given him the new name of Axis. The two go on to become the most feared hitmen in the underground, going by the name "Machina Mortis". Axis, with programmed loyalty to the mercenary and to the contract, suddenly has a glitch in his programming after an unexpected development during a mark which causes him to break from his prime directives and ignite a part of himself that Axis didn't know had existed.Complete

Throughout the investigation, however, (name) grows a strong attachment to Connor, with him treating her like an actual equal than a strange foreigner. He helped her through her PTSD and eased her nightmares. For once both she and Hank thought Skye could finally live normally again. But, when Cole passed away because of the careless act of a high surgeon and an android surgeon, she snapped. She screamed and cried, she developed a bi-polar disorder and a rude, aggressive, and solitary attitude. Hank made no move to scold her for her actions because he was the same way, the only comfort they had was their dog, Sumo, and alcohol. That is until an android entered their lives - RK800. He became Hank's new partner in the investigation on deviants.
