After a few months of therapy and nightmares, she is finally free to choose a new path.

This journey leads her from Texas to Chicago, where she becomes roommates with an eccentric computer hacker and her (maybe) southern belle girlfriend, struggles to find a job at a place that doesn't require a background check, and finds herself unexpectedly at the center of a murder mystery.
