Following the battle of New York, Loki Laufeyson was the last person Astrid ever considered she might end up falling in love with... but as her Grandma Peggy would say, 'Shit happens'.

Faced with the discovery of new and unpredictable powers, three friends are offered a job at S.H.I.E.L.D. It's not long before Amy discovers some dark secrets about herself and Astrid gets in to more trouble than usual when she takes the fancy of Loki Laufeyson; S.H..I.E.L.D.'s highest security prisoner aboard the Helicarrier. It probably doesn't help her case when he helps them to escape and go on the run and they get a lot closer than either of them expected to.

 With her two misfit friends, a dark elf and Loki, the infamous god of mischief himself, in tow, things will sure get interesting. Running for a crime she didn't commit, how can she escape a worldwide intelligence organisation like S.H.I.E.L.D.?
Maybe she can't, and maybe S.H.I.E.L.D. isn't the only organisation out there in search of 'Miracles'.
