Hailee Moon was the smallest and youngest wolf in her pack. Everyday she was teased relentlessly about her size and her strength. She was part of the white picket fenced family... only that's how it looked on the outside world. Behind closed doors Hailee was abused by her father for being so weak when one day she was supposed to lead the pack with her future husband... who she was already engaged to and, he too, abused her for the same things her father did.

Finally having enough of her father's and fiancee's mental and physical abuse Hailee escapes in the dead of the night with the help of her overly powerful wolf which only appeared when the stars were out, because her secret power wasn't in the moon, it was in the stars which were rare to see.

Accidentally running into the neighbouring pack's territory could have been Hailee's first major mistake. But becoming mates with their arrogant, dimwitted, young alpha was certainly the second.
