Durante el caluroso verano de 1999 en la diminuta y aislada localidad de San Juan, Viki y sus amigos Jonathan y Michaeljordan pasan las tardes viendo las mismas películas de aventuras, ciencia ficción y terror en VHS una y otra vez. También acostumbran a jugar con su PSX cubierta de pegatinas mientras un destartalado radiocasete reproduce a todo volumen temazos de Nirvana, Guns n' Roses y Metallica. 
Parecen unas vacaciones sencillas y predecibles. Pero este verano una serie de extraños sucesos y desapariciones que Viki y sus amigos están resueltos a investigar conducirán al grupo hasta un siniestro complejo militar plagado de dinosaurios. Esta pandilla de pringaos tendrá que enfrentarse al más puro "survival horror" si desean escapar con vida de un oscuro laberinto de acero y hormigón habitado por los más letales depredadores prehistóricos.
