The Mushroom Kingdom had been torn to shreds, taken into the cruel hand of the Koopas. Citizens of her once-peaceful kingdom were being executed every day. Peach just wanted to be a princess again. A princess who didn't have to worry. A princess that didn't live in fear. A princess who ruled herself.
