Traveling around what was once called America with my dad didn't seem all to bad. We trade things and deliver mail to people. Everything goes great until my ability to hide me true feelings are worn away and I fall hopelessly for the guy of my dreams. The only problem is. Everyone around us are god fearing settlers... I'm screwed.

I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. They died of disease days later. I found their bodies by the river. But I guess this is my life now, surviving with a scared boy, a pair of twins and trying to make it to the next day.
