Mal, daughter of none, lives on a small farm in rural Carvahall with her two cousins, Eragon and Roran, and her uncle, Garrow. One day, she and her cousin Eragon experience a mystifying explosion that results in the pair finding two stone. Follow the pair as they uncover what the stones really are, and enter the frightening reality that lays beyond the sleepy valley they call home. Secrets are revealed, tempers flare, and hearts break. Will Eragon and Mal's lives ever go back to the way it was? Find out in the Luminescent series. Inheritance Cycle, four books combined, edited and hopefully better read. Some plots have changed and I have added completely new chapters. Book five will be added. Mature themes might pop up later. As per usual, I obviously don't own any of the characters save for my OC's most the script and events belong to Christopher Paolini.

Addiane found her life to be comfortable enough. She may not have known her family, but she was fed and taken care of by those she lived with. She rarely feared for her life, and she was being taught valuable life lessons by those around her. Of course, training to be a Dragon Rider under the Shadeslayer himself, the first proper Rider in a long time, was a major bonus. Addiane wouldn't have thought she'd ever want to leave their little haven. Her curiosity simply got the better of her when Eragon's cousin made a plea for assistance, describing terrifying marauders and bowmen whose aim had been blessed by gods. And of course there was the man who rode the red dragon. Addiane had to know more about him, and about what was going on in the mountains that Eragon Shadeslayer had once called home. She really didn't know what she was getting into. *I DON'T OWN THE RANGERS APPRENTICE SERIES/ACCOMPANYING BOOKS OR THE INHERITANCE CYCLE, I JUST REALLY LOOK UP TO JOHN FLANAGAN AND CHRISTOPHER PAOLINI*
