Break Me (L.J.)

People tend to take their routine for granted. It's true that going through the motions day after day just gets plain exhausting after a while. I get it, I really do. However, no one ever appreciates the comfort of the monotony. We need to break the routine every now and then but there's comfort in knowing you can just go right back to it whenever you choose to do so.

Now, if anyone had told me the choice of my routine would slip through my fingers after a short series of events on a Thursday morning, I would've appreciated it a little more. It was a little too late for that now that I found myself stuck in a car with the three women who'd just stolen it right off the gas station a few minutes ago.
