The Black Dog: A Short Story

Two men, total strangers, meet each other at a bar. Ricky comes there to drink his sorrows away. Neil convinces himself he's not drinking away his problems, he just has nothing better to do on his Saturday night. They talk together, telling each other their problems, and become friends.
They leave the bar together and come across a black dog. The dog is friendly, and appears to be a stray, but neither of them can take it in, so they have to leave it. The dog follows them, leading them into the most terrifying night of their lives.
