Bearing a famous resemblance of the modern Sherlock Holmes, Lisa Isaac never fails to uncover murder and suicide cases that wind up to be homicides. Her skepticism, science and logical stand have become her natures to hold the title of the best detective in London, England.
But a mysterious suicide of her girlfriend, Chae Richards, who is found dead after a fall from their 10 storeys apartment puts Lisa in the greatest bafflement she ever experienced.
Jennifer and Jisoo Kim, a married couple who have been Lisa's best friends since middle school think it is not a good idea for her to get involved in the investigation due to her strong emotional attachment and grief towards the deceased, which could distract her from making a fair verdict. Lisa in the other hand refuses to place her friend's concerns in her rightful mind.
When her detective skills have failed to close the case as a murder, she decides to addict herself with superstition and multiple universes theory that have no place in any courtroom she ever visited.
Will Lisa succeed to prove Chae's death as a crime in the real world she lives in? Or will she lose her own self in supernatural forces that she never believes to be existed?
