However, a surprising event leads him to face his past and gives a new direction to his life. This story takes place about 3 years after book number 15. Contains characters and references to events from the three Wings of Fire book series, including the Dragonslayer. So if you haven't read the books, this story might spoil their plot. Moon has sadly passed away, leaving Winter and Qibli half dead. they both are crying heaps of dragon. Mostly Qibli, Moon was expecting an egg, and it cracked when she died. but of course, Turtle had to come to the rescue. he enchanted an egg that would never hatch on its own to be Qibli and Winter's dragonet. he took them both to sanctuary and gave it to them. then he flew off faster then an eagle set on fire.
