One polyjuice potion with strands of brown hair from a newly deceased Astoria Greengrass.

This was all it took for Hermione Granger's life to become intertwined once more with Draco Malfoy, an old school rival whom she has not seen for years.

In the eyes of the public, his relationship with Astoria Greengrass is adored and loved, transforming him into a redeemable figure after the war of Hogwarts. Yet once he is in private, he is cold and distant with Astoria, even though they share a son.

It just so happens that Hermione is stuck as Astoria Greengrass, and she has to play as a loving wife and a doting mother. (Just until they stop hunting for Hermione Granger).

Can she come to terms to step into a place of a cold, dead wife into a shell of a marriage with her former enemy and let go of old grudges? In this messed up arrangement with a baby involved, they might as well prepare for battle.

- slowburn strangers to lovers.
- romance, newfound family, and mystery.
