The Witch of Snake Island

A morally shaky team that includes a murderer, a young treasure hunter, and a tourist couple sneak onto Snake Island, Brazil in order to capture a fugitive named Mistress Hogarth for a $15 million reward. Having run from the authorities for years, Hogarth, a supposed witch experienced in black magic, has secretly taken control of the island, where she is surrounded by thousands of the most dangerous and poisonous snakes on the planet. She is also rumored to be surrounded by a wealth of gold, rubies, emeralds, and diamonds.

The team eventually comes across experienced and moralistic Australian adventurer Sean Harrows, who has been hired by the Brazilian government to find Mistress Hogarth. In their secret and illegal journey to capture their fugitive, Harrows must contend with the loose morals and easy trigger fingers of his teammates--and later, the supernatural powers of the mysterious Mistress Hogarth.
