This is my first countryhumans story so it's not that good. East Germany knows he shouldn't be alive, yet here he is, living with the man who raised him. He never really questioned it though. He was just happy to be alive. That is until his adopted father starts struggling to heal himself as quickly as he used to and East starts to worry. The entire world that he lives in is beginning to unravel and East learns things he never could have imagined. There's also a lot of stuff about Russia in this and I don't know why. He's not even supposed to be a major character but I have like 7 chapter dedicated to him.

This is a Countryhumans story about Germany and Russia. Warning: This is a slow burn. Germany is an excited and hardworking person who miraculously was accepted to one of the most prestigious universities. His foster father urges him to go to a field that is in Germany's opinion, dull and boring, as he has his own opinion on what is interesting to him. As always, there are ups and downs, but he is giddy with freedom and doesn't let anyone faze him. He amazingly passed the tests to be accepted to the Globally recognized university, and is ushered out of his home to get a degree to be able to help his father feed his family. he has no time for youthlike fun, frivolous adventures and romance. He expects the year to be dull but needed for his life. Both of them don't expect to become friends, and avoid eye contact. Germany then wishes to have more of the classes with Russia, just to get close. Does he succeed? That is the question.
