Imagine a world where your childhood "monsters" become real. Well mine did when I was only 19, I was bitten by my mother, she was a vampire, she only bit me because I was dying. I was in a bad car crash, broke seven ribs, fractured my jaw, punctured my lung, and had internal bleeding in my abdomen and brain. There was nothing else my mother could do. 107 years later zombies roamed the earth, the humans fighting for their lives everyday, is on the other hand all having to go vegan, feeding on animals, we'd be hungry for weeks trying to control the never ending thirst.
Everyone was worried about their loved ones or someone else, me on the other hand tried to protect anyone I could, I was the only vampire in my little group of three, so of course I was the protector. Until one day I met someone who I didn't know would mean more to me than anything. He saved me and led me to safe place we could call home.

Becoming Them: A Zombie Novel
What would you do if one second you were struggling to survive with your friends and mother in tow, and then you wake up to find yourself with a group of strangers the next - all during the country's takeover of blood-thirsty zeds? Megan couldn't believe her eyes. Her brain was muddled with confusion she couldn't get rid of, no matter how many times those strangers reassured her and explained what happened. But she had to accept it, even though it didn't make any sense to her. Megan had been with her mother every step of the way since everything turned to chaos, beginning just a year before, and now she was nowhere to be seen. And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. F*** Cancer, This One Did Us All In.
There's not a lot that can freak me out in this world. Only large animals with sharp claws, too many people touching me, bullies, hives, horror movies, sitting underneath fans or lights or anything that dangles from a ceiling, glass or wooden bridges, my mother, mosquitoes, public situations, taking a shower with nobody in the house, taking a shower with too many people in the house and crocks. Oh, and zombies. Zombies is definitely on that list. It's almost a shame too, that I have to race through a city packed full of them to find my missing family. Packed full of zombies, by the way, not crocks. (Although I don't know which situation is worse.) Now I have to not only keep my feeble body alive, but also protect (or be protected by) my two best friends in the entire world as we all try to survive in a city packed with the Dead.Complete

Bella, she has a hard past, with her religious family, abusive father and so much more. So she runs away and lives on her own. One day she witnesses these doctors make this concoction that turns people into zombies. After she witnessed that her while life along with the while world changed. she needs to figure out how to survive in this new world. After being on her own for some time, she comes across people. Which is hard for her considering she never was able to be around people. Shes not a people person. Shes a closed off, strong willed, lone wolf. Shes needs to learn how to survive with the dead walking around. Will she be able to survive with the new people she's going to meet? Not The Last {Rough Draft}
~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that. That seems like an easy thing to start with. Now, let me add in some other details. I live in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, that's about as enjoyable as I can make it seem. Now let me add in something else. I'm wanted by the CIA for reasons that I don't even know, but I guess I will find out eventually. Maybe somewhere within my story I will figure it out. I'm well known as The Bad Ass for reasons that are kind of obvious once you meet me. Maybe that's why they're after me? Because I'm a Bad Ass? Nope, I doubt that.
