Mason had been with BTS since the beginning, he is greatly loved by the fans. He is known for his fun-loving personality and care-free nature, he does however have a hidden side that only a few ever see. That side shows how he can have spouts of depression, how he can have a short fuse, and how he can suffer from severe self-doubt. This side also is the key to a major part of his character that is hardly known, in fact fans don't know. Mason is Transgender, he first came out as he, previously known as she, first hit puberty.
