Alex's world starts to be stripped of its glamour bit- by- bit when a boy she knew from her past was mysteriously murdered. Alex is then overcome by curiosity and decides to take the investigation into her own hands working together with the brother, Luca,  and his cousins, Elena and Fonzie Asgarras.

Alex finds out that their is more to this world that meets the eye.  Also learning that, just like this world, the heart has layers. And sometimes it gets punctured and everything just shatters, exactly like glass shards.
