My name is Carter, and... This who I am, really. I hunt beast-like creatures that kill humans and drink their blood. These creatures are called vampires. Now, you might think that with all of these vampires killing people on the daily, crime might cut back and people might stop trying to murder each other, but no. Crime levels are so high that they're breaking the meters, and average people like me have had to step up to try and at least do something to stop the rise of vampires.
"But why would you want to do that? That's dangerous, you could easily get killed!", you might say.
Well...
I lost my fear of death a long time ago. Probably when my parents were murdered right in front of my sister and I. That was my first encounter with a vampire, but it definitely left a lasting impression on my life." We don't care who you are, or who your parents were." they said.

Kind of like fishing, it wasn't important, just a pastime.
