The words were out of my mouth before I could stop them.

"Haven't we met before?" I blurted out, stopping him mid-step.

He turned then, raising an eyebrow and studying me through his dark eyes.

Then, he laughed.
"In your dreams, sweetheart."

High school senior Carter Aimes has been having the same dreams for over two months. And these recurring dreams have been about the same gorgeous guy. Hair so dark it's almost black, chocolate brown eyes, a winning smile complete with dimples...he doesn't have the kind of face anyone would forget, let alone someone who sees that face every night after closing her eyes.

One day while running errands at the grocery store, Carter happens to bump into a certain familiar face who turns out to be none other than the guy from her dreams. Through a series of petty arguments, sleepless nights, and bruised apples, the two bring themselves closer and closer together.

And if anyone asks her how they met, she can say she simply saw him...
